It was very pleasant to watch the sunset on this occasion.
There's nothing much to say about this vernal equinox sunset, except that it occurred, as the sunrise did, at the same location on the hills as the autumnal one did. A visit to the west point reveals that kangaroos have visited the site.
This photo was taken before the equinox, but the general line of the sun
confirms my observation that the sun is in the same position at both equinoxes...
... this is pleasing.
The west point site, where the sun appeared to disappear on the autumnal equinox, is still marked with some quartz stones and a glass bowl. Kangaroos have passed through, knocking stones and leaving their mark in the form of scats.
